London Photographer Actors Headshot info
What should you bring?
Bring as many tops as you wish, concentrating on the neckline - which will frame your face. Scoop necks, v-necks and collars work well. If in doubt black or white tops always photograph well. If you get told that a particular top/colour brings out your eyes, bring that top too.
AVOID busy patterns, logos, horizontal stripes or tops showing too much flesh. Colours can vary when taken in black and white, so bring what you feel is suitable and we will then work through them together.
Make-up – Loose powder is always good to cover up unexpected shine – but I will have some at hand if you forget. Also bring any thing you wish to ‘touch-up’ from your journey.
Hair - Bring a brush, hair-clips, ponytail band, gel/wax (if you use them).
Men - A razor if you would like to shave facial hair half-way through to achieve another look.
    A full length outfit

What should you do with your make-up and hair?
As your headshot should represent you and your look, wear your hair and make-up as you would usually have them. Casting directors will most likely turn you away if you turn up to an audition looking different than your headshot. They will remember you, but for the wrong reason.
My recommendation is to enhance your features, not cover them up!
The Studio!
My studio is based inside of The London Coliseum, St. Martin’s Lane, WC2N 4ES -
Trafalgar Square end. It is an intimate, relaxed studio in a room off the
Auditorium. I will always meet you in the foyer and take you up. You can view a further travel details here or on the map at the end of this page.
If you require ground floor access please inform me when making the booking.

How to get prints of your images.
Simply take your CD - or a CD with your chosen image(s) – to a Repro agency. Many also now take email submissions.

a.) Your CD will be sent 1st class within 3 days of choosing your selection. I am also happy to drop off the CD at Stage Door at the Coliseum for you to pick up - it’s open 24 hours - or to meet you if possible.

b.) If you need your photos quickly, then you can always purchase the Express Package for £20 - making the total £150 (£120 discounted). This means that your images will be online the morning after your shoot and sent within hours of choosing the selection. This must be booked in advance.

Advice on getting your ‘Perfect Headshot’!

‘The Headshot!’
The success of a good headshot can depend on one thing; whether you are captured in the shot. I achieve this by having a very relaxed shoot where we talk throughout. I will quickly get to know your expressions and your personality - Plus you will not be ‘posed’ so you will feel more relaxed and actually look like you!

Character headshots!
Although you need a headshot to represent you as a person, it is also advisable to have character shots. Casting directors flip through hundreds of faces looking for THE person for the role. Your chances of being chosen are narrowed drastically if you submit a shot of you as the mean/bubbly/sexy character.
